Now, Let's get  the steps for how to make a chocolate cake.
Ingredients
    1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled)1
    2 cups sugar
    3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
    1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 eggs
    1 cup milk
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 cup boiling water
    Butter and flour for preparing the pans
    Note: You can substitute the butter and flour with nonstick spray if desired.2
Equipment
    Two 9-inch round pans OR two 8-inch round pans OR one 9 x 12 rectangular pan3 4 1
    Parchment paper, cut to fit the bottom of the pan(s)5
    Large bowl    Small bowl   Wood spoon  Hand mixer  Wire rack
